How to Reach Lake Kremasta
By Car
Lake Kremasta Hotel is located in central Greece, at a similar distance from Athens and Thessaloniki, making it ideal for a scenic road trip. From Athens, the drive takes about five hours. The first 3.5 hours are an easy highway drive to Agrinio, followed by a 1.5-hour scenic mountain road leading up to the hotel. Please make sure to refuel at the last gas station before the ascent, as services are limited along the way. Clear signage at the village entrance will guide you to the hotel.
It is also possible to arrive via Preveza International Airport (seasonal). From the airport, the drive to Agrinio takes around 1.5 hours, followed by the same uphill road to the hotel.

Car Rental
If you’re flying into Athens, we recommend renting a car directly from the airport for a smooth and flexible trip. The drive to Lake Kremasta takes about five hours, passing through varied landscapes and quiet rural areas along the way. For added comfort and easier access to unpaved roads in the region, renting an SUV is recommended. Having your own car allows you to explore viewpoints, nearby villages, and the winding roads around the lake at your own pace, without relying on fixed schedules.
